I am pretty sure you can choose “Classic” and the default look and feel will be restored.

yes google 2007 logo sucked. a better design would have been nice. yours sucked too. better leave it to the graphic artists to figure it out. Just because google chose a simple page, doesn’t necessarily mean they are not creative.

I do the comcast swap. My roommate and I like using comcast, and aside from being the last area that comcast has yet to upgrade (We still don’t have on-demand)… we’ve found a way to cut our bill in half.

Comcast runs specials that last 3 months for new customers (as long as you have NOT been a customer within the last 3 months). So…

I get the new customer rate for Digital Silver (HBO), HD, DVR, Cable Modem, for about $80 a month. Outrageous, maybe, but less than the $150 it would be otherwise.

Then, in 3 months, I cancel, and my roommate picks up cable (same everything, for $80 a month).

We get at least 4 Mbps downloads, have 100+ channels (mostly crap, but a few goodies here and there)… High Def, and dual HD tuners w/ a DVR. The best part is I’ve been doing this for almost 2 years and they seem to be fine with it. I could never imagine paying $150 for this service. I still have a hard enough time choking down the $80 a month, but split it’s only $40 and that’s not so bad for everything we get.

The video was REMOVED by youtube for TERMS OF USE VIOLATION.

In other words, some moron posted a video that was not supposed to be posted to their site, AND THEY REMOVED IT.

i wouldn’t say that Google is one of the most creative sites out there… i mean.. it’s a very basic white page with text on it, very minimalist… which is the point.

I agree tho. the special logo wasn’t very good this time around.
